10 arguments for waterjet cutting
- Almost every material can be cut with waterjet.
- There is no material structure changes
- During waterjet cutting there is no heat load or material damage (crack, hardening).
- The deformation effect is negligible as the radius has a low reaction force of 20 to 40 [N] (sandwich structures can be cut).
- Cold and hard materials can be cut
- Small cutting hole, low material loss, 0,3..1,2[mm].
- Pre-drilling doesn’t needed.
- Minimal burring.
- Lower costs: in case of sheet materials more layers can be cut at the same time and more than one product can be manufactured on one tableware.
- Environmental protection: there is no environmental load during cutting.
